It’s simple. But it’s NOT easy.

1. Sign up. You gotta’ start somewhere! Schedule a free intro, where we’ll help you create a program that works for your schedule and meets you where you are. You can get great results with even just 3 days per week. You’ll be taught everything and workout under the eyes of a trained and experienced staff. (this part is easy)

2. Eat right. You can’t out train a bad diet. Nutrition is the foundation of the fitness pyramid. We can help you restructure your diet, but you can start by memorizing and following the first part of “World-Class Fitness in 100 Words”. Words have meaning: “some”, “little”, and “no” are important qualifiers (yeah, difficult ones, too).

 

 

“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.”

 

3. Show up. Our staff will integrate you into the program, with movements scaled appropriately for your level of fitness and ability. You perform to the level of intensity that you can handle. The program is “Constantly Varied”, but definitely NOT random. There is a method to what is done every day. Contrary to popular opinion, not every day is comprised of heavy lifts and tire flips. Some days are short and intense, some are longer and less intense. Day 1 probably won’t be easy; you’ll be nervous. We know that – literally every member and every coach has gone through that feeling. Take a deep breath, open the door, and walk in. That nervous feeling will go away when you see the smiles as you are greeted by everyone here.

4. Do the work. You don’t have to figure out what to do; we’ve got that part. The coaches will help you with how to do it as well, but we can’t do the work for you. You can’t complain about the results you didn’t get from the effort you didn’t put in.

5. Show up again. (…and again, and again…). It took time for you to get to where you are and it’ll take time to undo it. Old habits die hard. Changing the composition of your body is a process, not an event.

You don’t have to be “in shape” to start CrossFit. But you do have to start to get in shape.

The best, most visible, results are from those with the furthest to go.
