Testing Week Explanation

If you take only two things from this post, take these two:
1) Show up every single day between Tuesday (4/14) and Friday (4/24). This is regardless of your membership.
2) Give your absolute best on every test. Hold nothing back.

Ok, now that we’ve got that out of the way, I can provide a bit more detail. The goal of these tests is simple: we want to provide you, the athlete, with a baseline from which to improve on. A good chunk of you have numbers in many of these lifts and conditioning pieces, but there are plenty of new people who don’t.
The tests will fall into two main categories: weightlifting (barbells, yay!) and conditioning (breathing hard, boo!). Since I can’t make everyone show up every day (and believe me, I would if I could!), I’ve done my best to spread the barbell movements and conditioning pieces across a M/W/F or T/R/F template to give the most opportunity for the most people to hit a good bit of everything.
So, what will be testing exactly? Well, you didn’t think I’d give away two weeks worth of programming, did you?? I will say this – we will deadlift, squat, and hit a few choice “benchmark WODs.”
So just sit back, relax, and enjoy your opportunity to put on a show!
